4cWhole milk
2cnPET evaporated milk
8 Egg yolks
1cnCondensed milk
1/4tsSalt
2tsVanilla
2tbRum extract
1tsNutmeg

Start by mixing the whole milk & the PET evaporated milk in a sauce pan & scalding it. Then beat yolks, condensed milk, & salt together until blend is smooth. Now gradually add the scalded milk to the mixture, stirring it constantly as you pour.

Next, stir in vanilla, rum extract, & nutmeg. And with an electric mixer, whip all the ingredients thoroughly.

At this point the egg nog can be served hot & spiked with a jigger of rum per serving, or it can be laced with rum to taste, chilled & served cold in frosty glasses. Will keep well in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

This can be served without the liquor.
